Thanks to the fabulous crew at 97.8 Classic Hits, two fabulous personal trainers, Roger Symes and Freya Thomson and a host of generous sponsors in Palmerston North, two girls, way back in February, won over $2000 worth of goodies, each, inclusive of an entry into the 20 Week Body & Lifestyle Competition.

Due to the Christchurch Earthquakes their 20 week competition became an unbelievable 30 weeks long but both girls embraced the extension! They jumped in boots and all, agreeing to continue for what was no doubt a hard additional 10 weeks. Both did amazingly well and have been an absolute pleasure for us to deal with, they have built up a fabulous Facebook fan club and in turn they have inspired many others to do more, be more and want more out of life. It’s fair to say both are in fact winners, in a whole realm of ways.

The winner of the public vote got to take home another $1000 plus worth of goodies (in addition to the $5000 worth of goodies each won at the start)  inclusive of a Photography Package from Kim Stork Photography valued at $465, a relaxing foot soak, full body massage and an indulging scalp massage valued at $150 from Korrene Robinson Skincare, a three course dinner and drinks for two at ‘The Gallery, valued at $150 as well as a $100 bouquet and $50 voucher from Forget Me Not Flowers and from Red Hair – a designer restyle & colour, conditioning treatment , lash tint , brow tint and blow wave by one of their senior stylists valued at $250 and to top it all off, a skincare package from Hardy’s valued at $220.
